La zona di transizione fra mantello e nucleo terrestri è stratificata : sua probabile origine
Main Article Content
Abstract
New evidences about the existence of a transition
zone between the lower mantle and the core are carried.
In 1964, the author proved this zone is about 160 krns thick and
velocity of elastic waves decrease in it gradually. Now he judges the
velocity of P wave, at the bottom of the transition zone, of 10 km/sec
order.
The zone results layered, how the record of intervalled, successive
pulses proves.
For the giustiflcation of this zone the Ramsey's theory is trought fit
