Abstract
The equations for the hypersonic wakes are written,
taking into account the cross effects between the gradients of temperature
and the electronic concentration and the gradient of electrical potential.
By the dimensional analysis of the equations the fundamental parameters
affecting the phenomenological behaviour of the wakes are evidenced.
The analysis of these parameters shows that some cross effects have a
noticeable importance in a large flight corridor of pratical interest.
