Abstract
In questa Nota non intendiamo ripercorrere criticamente i numerosi
precedenti sull'argomento, che risalgono a contributi internazionali
(italiani compresi), da più di venti anni, riservando di far ciò estesamente
in altro momento.
Vogliamo qui ricollegarci ai recenti lavori di Vacquier (*), del '54
e del '56, perchè, pur non potendo convenire in tutto nelle sue teorie
del meccanismo dei fenomeni in esame, si deve riconoscere un notevole
sforzo per la messa a punto del metodo di « Prospecting for Ground
water by Induced Electrical Polarization », che dalla fase di Laboratorio
è già a quella applicativa sul terreno per la ricerca diretta dell'acqua
dolce.
