Abstract
The Nortìi Sea is considered by the Authoras a great gulf spread northwards. Theoreticalremarks are given about the method whiehhas been used. The North Sea has beendivided in 31 sectors. The calculation hasbeen limited to the determination of the mainfeatures of the uni-and bi-nodal free oscillations.Goncerning the periods, they haveresulted respectively of 38 li. 30 m. for theuni-nodal and 13 h. 18 m. for the bi-nodaloscillations.
