AIM and SCOPE
Annals of Geophysics: advancing research beyond geophysics
Annals of Geophysics (AG) is a diamond open-access journal covering Geophysics and Earth System Sciences — from tectonics, volcanology, and geochemistry to atmospheric, ionospheric, and extreme Earth processes.
The journal provides a venue for integrated and multidisciplinary research on Earth and its dynamic systems. AG publishes original articles, review papers, peer-reviewed comments (and replies) and Data and method papers encompassing all aspects of geophysical science.
It provides:
- Open-access, freely accessible online (authors retain copyright)
- Fast publication times
- Peer review by expert, practicing researchers
- Free of charge publication
- Post-publication tools to indicate quality and impact
- Worldwide media coverage
- AG is published by Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV), a nonprofit public research institution.
Scope of Interest: AG journal covers a wide range of subjects, including (see subject areas) but not confined to:
- Seismology, Geodynamics, Tectonophysics and Remote Sensing
- Volcanology, Physics and Chemistry of the Earth and Atmosphere
- Oceanography and Climate change
- Ionosphere and Solar-Terrestrial Environment
- Geomagnetism, Paleomagnetism and Electromagnetism
