Abstract
A method is described to transform a transverse differential
sounding curve to the form of a Schlumberger sounding curve.
Starting from the general expression which relates the transverse differential
apparent resistivity to the Schlumberger apparent resistivity, it is possible,
with some approximations, to derive an easy numerical procedure in order
to carry out the transformation. Some considerations are given about the
applicability of the method.
