Results on magnetic field inside and outside the magnetosphere
Main Article Content
Abstract
Present knowledge on the magnetic field of celestial
bodies in briefly reviewed.
Theoretic results on the interaction of the solar wind and its frozenin
magnetic field with the geomagnetic field are presented. Satellite measurements
within and outside t h e magnetosphere are then discussed: agreement
with theoretical results is quite good.
