Abstract
The use of the magnetometer, previous described by the
A., in the measure of the magnetization inliomogeneity of a rock sample
is shown in the present paper.
At the first it is studied the signal generated in this magnetometer by
an off-centre dipole; after it is proposed to reduce a rock sample to a sample
uniformly magnetized in a direction with an off-centre dipole no necessary
parallel to that direction.
With this scheme the A. introduces a measure, that it named the index
of the magnetization inliomogeneity : of course this index can do an idea
of the eventual inhomogeneity of the rock sample.
